Appointments

Make, change or cancel an appointment

To request an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday)

  • Phone us Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm
  • Use Pharmacy First for seven minor conditions which no longer require a GP appointment (earache, impetigo, infected insect bites, shingles, sinusitis, sore throat, urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women). Click here for full details.
  • Visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist. We are open Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm (7.00pm on Monday)

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with. We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Every week many patients fail to attend their appointments. This wastes valuable clinical time and means fewer appointments are available for those who need one. Please remember to cancel an appointment if you can no longer make it.

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us we may offer you a consultation:

  • By phone
  • Face to face at the surgery
  • On a video call
  • By text or email

Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

Please notify the practice as soon as possible if you cannot attend your appointment, so that it can be offered to another patient. We are unable to cancel appointments with less than 30minutes notice.

  • Use the NHS App or patient access online. Please do not use this option if your appointment is today or on a Friday evening for a Monday, as the surgery is closed.
